3D Laser Scanning Services

As more companies undertaking brownfield revamp work, are either using or looking at using laser scanning to capture accurate plant data saving both time and money.

Survey 2 CAD offer High Definition 3D Laser Scanning as an integral part of our suite of as-built data services.

The technology involves the laser scanning of the desired plant area by the most up to date scanning equipment. The scans are registered against surveyed targets to give high accuracy then processed to combine scans and reduce duplicate points.

The resulting Scan Data can be delivered to the client for use or further processed to generate a 3D CAD model.

We are happy to work closely with clients to tailor solutions best suited to their requirements.

Laser Scanning captures vast amounts of information quickly and can be used for situation other than above, some such as monitoring of critical structures and first time fit fabrications which we carry out regularly.
